Developing nations were left behind, locked out of the economic and social outcomes that modern land administration makes possible. LAC is closing that gap with solutions accessible not just to acquire, but to operate. From a live registry for a sovereign First Nation to jurisdictions taking their first steps.

FOUNDING
LAC founded by Dean Nielsen, Darin Nielsen, and John Chisholm
LAC is founded, pairing deep engineering and delivery expertise in mission-critical government systems with the financial backing and governance to build for the long term. The mission: fix registry modernization.
TEAM
Steve Smith joins as Chief Technology Officer
In November 2018, Steve Smith joins as LAC’s first hire: a senior engineer with a career in mission-critical government systems. He establishes the engineering architecture that underpins our solutions to this day, and continues to lead technology at LAC as Chief Technology Officer.
